It goes beyond that: it's about having a genuine sense of meaning, a sustainable and authentic lifestyle."

Beyond Work

Laura values moments of simplicity and genuine connection.

  • She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.

  • She’s passionate about the arts, often attending theater performances and Candlelight concerts, and sees fashion as both a form of identity expression and emotional regulation.

Volunteer work has always been part of her life. Currently, she:

  • Volunteers in elderly recreation at Sault Area Hospital (Canada);

  • Is a columnist for Instituto Bem do Estar (Brazil), writing about mental health;

  • Is the director of community outreach and board member of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association (CPPA).

These choices are more than leisure activities — they sustain her vision of a fulfilling life: one that weaves together work, care, beauty, and presence.
